TomR
Right, i used to ride ages ago, packed up, bought a trailstar and rode a bit of street and a few long rides, blah blah blah - cutting the crap im after a trials frame again and i don't really know what choices i've got.I'm pretty tempted by the Px Ali-bongo on CRC at only £180, but being a fairly old-skool rider im not too sure about the long geometry, not that i don't like riding long bikes, i've never really ridden a long bike so maybe i'm just scared of the unknown.I used to have a Zebdi Mk1 which was pretty short and it was a great ride, anyone know of any places with any Zebdis (Not mk1's though, doubt i'd find one of those) still in stock?Any other options on what to go for, price isn't really a problem but i don't want to go crazy as i won't really ride it that much, however much i tell myself 'i will ride it all the time', so the cheaper the better. Im not gonna be going nuts so "But they crack when you do 12ft drops" doesn't really bother me.Cheer for any suggestions.TomEdit: something i just forgot, being pretty oldskool a seat would be nice, but hey, im open to suggestions. It would obviously come with the bashplate and would come with seat, seatpost and seat clamp too.

ScotchDave
Right, Leesons are nice, and fairly short.Iolos are nice and whatever geo you want, manufactured by Mr Aran Cook aka Iolo of this forum.Fresh products are nice as well made by a guy called Todge on here. They're all steel, the last two seem to be very reasonably priced and they're British. mtbjosh
ooh i see well maybe the next best thing is get over to a decent trials shop with fully built up bikes and have a hop about the base would be a no go for me anyway as i snapped 2 in 3 months, that was around upto 4 months ago, they didnt stand up to my riding then and it wasnt really big stuff. it all depends on how you ride as i am a hefty rider. TomR
I'm a fairly light rider on the grand scale of things i think, i never really went huge and i rolled most stuff anyway most of the time!theres sod all bike shops here, theyre full of XC bikes really like Evans cycles. Cheers for the info mate.you can always order saracens in evans within a few days, you do need 25% deposit, but fully refundable and we provide people test rides! anyway, i believe evans will soon be stocking the 'phase'? new M.A.D team bikes....steve

On none of those bases did you run a seatpost either, so if your a heffer of a rider with no support in the seat tube i'm not suprised they didnt last.
