Phil H
I have been riding my friends custom Onza T-Rex for a number of months and am improving greatly. (Developing skills learnt when riding street) Therefore I am now looking at purchasing a trials bike however do not have a massive budget. For this reason I am looking at the T Rex. I like the feel of the frame, it seems to be a strong bike and the components aren't diar. What is the general opinion on the Spec 1 T-Rex?What is your opinion on the bike?Any useful information on the bike? I would appreciate any help, guidance or information.Cheers, Phil
Ben Beckett
depends on how high you are really, my mate has this frame and he is quite short, bout 5"6' odd, and he struggles to tap it, manual etc because the frame is long. but if you like long frames and are able to do manuals etc easily on them then this is an ace bike to learn on, it is strong so it will definately take a pounding and survive, and most of the componants are ok so it is a very good choice to learn on. it is also fairly cheap so you would be able to upgrade some of the componants if you needed to.good lick mate! Krisboats
I moved from a base TA26 to a T-Rex frame with smart guy forksetc and i have to say i love it to bits, if your short it might be a bit uncontrolable but with me being 6'5" its easily bunnyhoppable and manualable... i can even 180 and tyre tap the thing.Strong bikes too
