ScotchDave
Good afternoon, I'm just about to bugger off to be a uni student, so need to start doing my accounts in a sensible way. I figure there must be some sort of program to do it. So anyone got any they want to recomend? And anyone want to give me any tips?

cleanbikes
Sage is ok for business, producing invoices, profit/loss balance sheets etc - but for personal finances Microsoft Money's nice and easy.
Extreme_biker0
For what you will be doing, I reckon excel will be perfectly good. If you want more info on a good workbook setup let me know.Sage, for personal accounts, WTF!!!? It's too complex for most small/medium businesses most of the time, they always f**king it up! Waaaay overkill.I've never used Microsoft money before, as I can't see what it would do beyond excel. Anyone car to run through the features?
