Tarquin
1200grams...ermm, bit hefty for a carbon fork? and a tad long for a trials bike-whats the retail? They are probably longer as I expect they are XC forks. And on the weight they look like they have more metal than most carbon forks I have even seen. So maybe thats why they're a bit heavier.

tomtrials
Not my thing they look bloody awful! Like you said they are to replace a suspension fork but have a slight amount of flex and the advantage is they will be alot lighter.
GTF
those forks have nothing to do on a trials bike! that's for sure.they will probably do on a xc bike...looks pretty nice though

Shaun H
I love how everyone instantly thinks anything made with carbon fibre involved must be light. Especially apparent in Mr Wright's excitement at "1200gm!!!". Edited September 25, 2006 by Shaun H

Simon
Have mailed asking for a test sample as i asked for dropouts off them ages ago.S'alright, they'll be like, "f**k, its Pete Wright, quick, make him a custom full carbon trials bike, 'cause he like invented carbon or some shit didn't he?".Thats about how it'll go, right Pete? N.Wood
Until anyones tested them on a trials bike I'll reserve judgement. To be honest I'd rather have carbon forks that weighed a few hundred g's more, than a carbon fork that is gonna snap and rape me with its carbon shards.Though all i care about in forks is strength, then weight, then stiffness... I like a bit of flex.If they're strong, then cool.. They've failed the weight catagory, but should be stiff. Which is not always good. So, all in all, alu forks are fien for me
Wright Pads
Some how i don't think so and why get them to make me one when if i wanted i could my self. I have plenty of lay-up ready to be used and a good 10L of resins waiting to be used up. All i need is a stryrofoam block to shape then lay-up on. Oh and all the inserts to be made, aka the metal high stress parts
max-t
if you are going to have some forks that heavy u may as well buy some tuf guys from onza or some planet x knifens..1200 grams better off with zoo or echos that are around the 800 and 900 gram mark.max..... chrishayton
so by cutting 20mm off a steerer you can save 300 grams . my fattys were 850 grams. 1250 is stupid.
_skj0lsvik_
Isnt PACE carbon forks like 500-600grams?Pace forks looks ace
Krisboats
400mm long and exactly same weight as Fatty R's so shut it!Stronger and stiffer than the pace ones! Will fit a trials bike perfectly! We not allowed to give an opinion if it doesnt fit the same as yours then? Funny how the majority actually say their fatty's are 250g+ lighter than these Is that steerer tube just coincidentally black or is that carbon fibre too? Sod having a carbon steerer, may as well go with a bonded set of tuf guys I wouldnt spend so much on a pair of forks that are that heavy when theres cheaper lighter alternatives around. I personally wouldnt trust carbon forks really either.
