Radfax
Following Richard Hammonds near fatal crash on wednesday evening, the bbc are threatening to pull the plug on TopGear. An online petition has been created. If you feel as strogly as i do about this, then please sign up, show support, and pass the link around.http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?tg100tom = 13926 Edited September 24, 2006 by Radfax
JT!
Top gear will never be taken off the air, like Danny said, even if they do (which they won't) another channel will pick it up stright away.Besides, i don't think it's even true that they are disscussing taking it off the air, i heard it was a rumor. Alexx
Seeing as they have 350 million viewers or so each week - making it one of the BBC's highest earning and most popular shows worldwide, I highly doubt they'll be pulling it. Joel
I heard on the news that they weren't shwoing it untill Hammond is back.Well of cause they won't show till hammond is back, they need him to do more stuff. No is no chance that the bbc will take it off even if hammond doesn't make it, which i don't reckon will happen (meaning i recon hammond will make it through). When hampster gets back on james and jeremy are going to have so much fun pissing him off.
Haz
Meh, shit happens, he wouldn't have done it if he didn't want to.Unfortunately, something went wrong, that's no reason to pull the plug on the only TV show worth watching. Trials Punk
Why can't they show it until hammonds back? They do these things in advance don't they? So they'll still have episodes to air, then they'll have to catch up.
Haz
The clips are recorded off season, whilst the studio bit is filmed a few days before the episode, so the news is current, etc.
