Brian Bleech
Last night my ultimate caliper fell apart (not sure how) but the pin bit that holds the silver bit that the noodle goes into came off! I have both the silver bit and the pin, but I want to know how it holds it on at the back, because I put it on and it was very loose. Is there a circlip at the back?and where can I get spares?hopefully the picture will make more sense of what I have just wrote.[attachmentid=7132]

ScotchDave
You should go to the avid homepage and look at the exploded diagram, that way you know if anything is missing.

djb
The caliper I got second hand (I think one of George's via Ben Geary) had been bodged with a bent screw! However I removed that and not being able to find anything else got it rivetted together (but so it still moves freely) with an aircraft rivet - should be plenty strong for the job . It's been like that for several months now and has given me no problems.
Krisboats
Your local car garage should have hundreds of different sized circlips, head down and ask for one... it'll set you back about 15p
