tipus Posted September 22, 2006 Report Share Posted September 22, 2006 On another note they should have welded on BOTH sides of the brakemounts on the team 05 bikes. Mine is cracked half way around the mount. All the stress is gatheret at one point, where there isn't a long enough weld. On the inner side of the brakemounts. When pushing the brake there will be more stress on the inner side where there is a lack of welding, forcing the mount to push itself outwards (and then crack at one point) instead of the whole rear end flexing.If that makes any sense.
