The enchanted broomstick
I've got myself an .ISO file that i would like to run, its a game. I have tried using MagicISO to extract the file but when i go to File > Open > Battlefield 1942.ISO it says "Cant find the file or file isnt CD image file!"Anybody have any ideas on what i need to do?Cheers, stu
Greetings
Try opening it with WinRAR.quick edit: This should let you know if indeed it isn't an image (like somebody has messed around with the extension). If all is well, try using a program like Deamon Tools. Edited September 19, 2006 by Inur

The enchanted broomstick
Alcohol???Inur - your a genius, i opened the ISO in winRAR and it displayed the setup.exe file straight away, gave it a double click and everything is installed. Top notch mate.Cheers, stu
Greetings
But unless you have a no-cd crack, you will still have to load the image or the game won't run. It looks like the file is ok, so just use a different program.
The enchanted broomstick
The no-cd crack is already installed so the game is running how it should be. Cheers for your help mate.
nb88
Images dont usually work for running the game anyway, you usually need a different mini-image, or a no-cd crack.I always use Daemon Tools (virtual drive) for opening CD images, displays it as if the CD is in. Danny
http://www.daemon-tools.cc/ - if you want to run the image properly without burning it.http://www.imgburn.com/ - if you want to burn the image to a disk.
