hey guys

so the tpa on my older style of hs-33's went, so i ordered a newer style one.

my question is besides the lever design can i use the other parts for spares like the slave cylinders, hoses ect.

thanks

You sure can. There exactly the same, the whole internals of both levers are the same.

The new levers suck though

This might have helped you ;)

another quick question guys.

I got the brake today and when i hit the lever only one pad moves unless you give it resistance

normal?

Yeah usually, if its not attached to the bike, then sometimes they do it even if it is attached. If you bled it with mineral oil then whack some 3-in-1 oil on the piston when its fully out and it'll smear the oil around when it retracts back in once the lever is released. Do this a couple of times for each piston and you should be right as rain.

If you bled it with water then just use some wd-40 or some other degreaser then whack a little bit of very light oil onto the pistons in the same way i described above.

Give them a wipe down afterwards around the edges to remove excess oil so it doesnt get on your pads and you'll be fine.

Make sure the brake is set up evenly as well with both pads an equal (short) distance from the rim.
