matt!
hi guys, well ive just got my highest sidehop 42" its good for me but i no people can do that in theeir sleep! i have found that the lower the presure the easy it is to sidehop, this make sense realy, has anyone else found that the lower the presure is the better they ride, this is mainly aimd at the rear tyre pressure but i also find that the lower the front tyre pressure the easyr it is to sidehop, i duno how it works though i little less weight maybe? anyone else found that lower pressure helps them to ride or has no effect on their riding at all? dose your riding style help you get along with low pressure too? also added a pic of my!side hop! this one is only 41" though! i didnt get a picture of my 42" here: sorry about the quality it is a print screen of a the clip!cheers matt! trials_noob
I am still learning the basics in trials but lower pressure does help. It makes the tyre more 'bouncy' therefore there is a bigger impact from preloading. Having lower pressure will make a very very minuscule change to the weight over high pressure. Hope that helps
matt!
yea having a diffrent tyre compound will help aswel!

stetpro
lower tyre pressure gives you a better preload but don't have it to low. to find the right pressure take a pump out with you have about 15psi in and keep letting little amounts of air out until you have the perfect pressure. obviously pump it back up if you let to much out. personally i run 10-13psi and that is right for me. give it a try
