fathopper
Just pull the free wheel off literally, really easy
JonCongreve
I'm looking at doing this aswell. I think you have to take the lockring off, then you can take the freehub body off with the axle. Not 100% sure really, any help would be much appreciated
fathopper
To service the hub, all you need to do is take the wheel out of the frame, get hold of the hub with one hand and the sprocket/freehub body and pull off from the hub, just be careful as to make sure the pawls don't spring out and fly everywhere. Serviced it last night or a mate of mine did as I watched in complete horror as he took apart my 4 week old hub just by pulling on. Then all you do is jsut wd40 or grease and push it back onto the hub, making sure the seal is in place. (Bloody hub one of the pawl clips knackerd up after 4 weeks of riding)
26inch
its just like other hope hubs:Reamove wheel grip, cassette and pull off while twisting it anticlockwiseClean all the pawls nd that, remove all grease so it runs betterDont go near it with wd40 or gt85 unless you want to f*uck your bearingsSlide the cassette body back on while twisting anticlockwiseReplace little spacer on end of axleDone
max-t
its not that easy.you have to take the little cup off first.the bit that sits against the drop out.other wise you will have lost of trouble taking freehub body off and all the pawls and that might go frlying everywhere if u pull it off hard.pull the outer cup out first with a pair of pliers.then the freehub body will slide off.the cup i am referring to is the one with the knurled surface to grip against the frame when the wheel is in placethanksmax.......sorry...just like 26inch said. 26inch
its easier to pull the freehub body off which will also push the knurled spacer off, then you dont scratch it with your pliers
