(sorry if this is a stupid question). we will be riding mainly street, so please can you reccomend a bike we can do this on.thankswe would like to buy a secondhand bike(two if available) to do this on, but i cant post in the for sale section, so do you know if there are any available to buy?thanks in advanceSam
Krisboats
Yeah, if you could only do it on zoo bikes trials would be soooooo f**king boring. Zoot's are alright frames but to decide on what frame you want to get you'll want to take into account your height, your build and what sort of riding you enjoy the most. For example if you like riding street with bunnyhops and abubaca's a short flicky bike will be better than a zoobike. However, if you mean ride street pure trials style then a zoo style bike will be fine. Onza t-rex, echo's czar, GU... you get the picture. If its the flicky fun kind of street bike your after then have a look on ebay or other trials forum signatures for anybody selling a great condition base TA26. Lovely cheap bike and very easy to ride Edited September 15, 2006 by Krisboats

Not too great with these... loads of people have t-pro's but i cant for the life of me think why... wheir ugly little things and they dont ride amazingly well either.A zoot is 24" so it would be complately different to the 20" zoo you were looking at... maybe get some mod riders opinions?Come on kiddie bike riders...this guy needs help Edited September 15, 2006 by Krisboats

Stock bikes have 26" wheels like your average mountain bike however their geometry is usually suited better to trials than your average £120 bike from halfords. Things are generally easier on a stock bike, like getting up things and gapping across obstacles however their usually heavier and require more ooomph to get them where you want them.Generally people start on the small 20" bikes and then progress onto normal stock bikes... but some people are weird and stick with mod bikes 24" is a new craze that has the benefits of being flicky but big enough and versatile enough to do most things a 26" can.
