Ash-Kennard
pedal at the object, crouch, leanback, kick hard with your good foot, gently tap your front wheel, explode upwards.where i said tap it gently thats only for starters, when you start getting good at them you can hit them harder for extra height. Chris Elson
Hi mateIm a beginner at tapping. Yeah tap gently, trust me becuase when i try tapping hard, i go out of control and always land hard on my bash guard. Best not to tap hard , i find it so much easier when i tap gently. Thanks mate

Chris Elson
Hmmm im not sure what you mean there, there is not much to explain when tapping, but hitting the wall with your front wheel just comes natural. Just aim your front wheel at the edge of the wall. Hope this helps im not an expert at explaining stuff.

Up'n'away
Just do your normal pedal kick up, But throw yourself up when you tap the front..Thats what i do anyway
poopipe
It's basically the same technique as backwheeling except you leave a few inches later and hit the wall an inch or two from the top on the way up. There's no point practicing on anything too low cos it just won't work - pick something you can backwheel easily enough but that does require some effort - that way, its high enough to tap but if you miss the tap you'll still go sailing up onto the top of it and nothing gets damaged.tap lower and harder to bounce higher - too low and you faceplant on the corner of the wall so you'll want to watch thatit works from a bunnyhop too although it's more risky on account of the extra speed. ben
id say u want somthing about like 35 inches to start on so it actualy works im not much cop at taps but you just sort of skim the wall to start with and it naturaly kicks you up a bit more its hard to explain realy and i do 3/4 of a crank turn as with a normal backwheel. hope that was help if it even made sence.ben
