Mavic Rims

i had a d521 on my zoo 06 pitbull when i 1st bought it, but i found that it was too thin and the brakes was extremely annoying to set up (N) , they was as far in as they could go, and you would need new pads (no wear)... i'd say that 38mm rims are the best for these frames due to them not being too wide.the wider ones your feet tend to sometimes hit the brake (N) .....

they can be used but it isnt the best rim too use...........go for a wider rim mate (Y)

Or run a pad bodge (screw an extra set of backings on to your pads, so the pads are an extra 8mm or so in towards the rim

Will hunt for pics and edit for you....

Alternatively, there's the offset maggie mounts:

Something like that should do the trick if you don't want to run a wider rim

(sorry the pics slightly too large really, but resizing takes a little effort and that's straight from another thread, so should be ok!)
