Tom_
I have an onza T-pro which I recently decided to run bashless, in doing so I noticed that the bash mount on the bottom (the one that holds the rubber block to the bash) was getting in the way wen i feel to bash etc. so i sawed that off. But after I sawed that off I realised it looked really good and clean, so proceded to sawing all others off. Then I realised, the one that hold the back of the bash to the frame bridged a gap and connected the cnc bits to the bb shell. Now this has gone do you think my frame will die very quickly??cheerstom. Edited September 11, 2006 by tom132

The enchanted broomstick
Well done! Sorry.Anyways, the BB area takes some of the most stress on the bike, i believe this because every frame i have snapped/cracked has been around the BB area so i would strongly suggest keep checking around the welds for cracks fairly often, you dont want the BB shell to suddenly rip off when your in the middle of something. If you want the strength back you could always take it to someone who you know can do some welding and just get them to put it back together for you but it will screw up any paint work around the welded area.stu
Krisboats
So it joined the bb and cnc bits together? So is there a hole now?If there is i would fill the hole with blue tack and then stick gaffer tape over it. The tape'll hold the blue tack in and the blue tack might form some sort of padding around sharp edges should it snap and head towards your legs. ScotchDave
Possibly ride it till it snaps, then get crash replacement.
Gaz M
if theres a gaping hole then it will snap extremely fast
The Duck
Ten out of ten Tom! How to ruin a perfectly decent T-Pro in a matter of seconds! Edit: If it snaps while were riding I'll give you a fiver for it on the spot just so i can re-live the moment. I'll frame it or something. Mark W
No CNC'ing on the T-Pro's, just gert big alu girders I don't think the sub-frame's a key part of it. Obviously, not taking it fully off would've been a better idea, but I wouldn't have thought the stays would just fall off now or anything.
