F-Stop Junkie
I forgot to mention, the expected price is likely to be £12 posted to the UK, though I'm trying to keep the price as low as possible. That said, if I can lower costs, then it means more money for BiketrialUK. What do people think?

F-Stop Junkie
Right, this calendar...I've had quotes from various printers, and we can do a calendar at a decent price for people, but we need to sell quite a few. Given that Christmas is rapidly approaching, people are getting short of cash, and I still need to confirm everything with the printers, I'm getting concerned.Oh, and it'll involve me risking a grand of my own cash.As you can imagine, I'm less than thrilled about this, especially as it could potentially leave me out of pocket, and with a hundred or so calendars clogging up my spare bedroom. It's a lot of risk as I personally am planning to pass the profits onto BiketrialUK, and not pocket them myself. What I'd like to suggest is the following, based on postponing the production of the calendar until next year. We have a growing contingent of good photographers on Trials-Forum, so we can get a collection of photos together from all of us and use those instead of just limiting it to ones in my archive.Second, advertising is sought for each month at a cost of about £75 a month. This will mitigate the risk of one person having to outlay a lot of cash, and it'll mean the calendars can be priced lower (and hence sell more) with the same amount of money per calendar going to BiketrialUK.Also, postponing it will allow pre-orders to be offered giving a clearer indication of demand, as well as better promotion through MBUK, various other forums, etc...Sorry to anyone who wanted one for next year, but it's a lot of personal risk and work sorting through 8000 photos for little reward. Hopefully by using what I've learned this year, and by utilising the growing talents within the forum, we can share the workload and come up with a higher quality item for trials fans in 08!Any thoughts? Once this is all confirmed, I'll get a sticky put up where this can be discussed and progressed.
