The point of a chrome rim is how amazing the brake is in the wet on a smooth rim, Mark's saying if you ride natural the slightest bit of water is going to make it completely shit as in not holding enough to slow you down in the slightest, if you grind it, it defeats the point of having one.lets be honest here, thats a bag a bolloks really, if i was gonna get chrome rims i would get them cus i wanted chrome rims,. and if i was running a maggie, i would grind them!joE! There are loads of aluminium BMX rims that are chromed, and Car alloy wheels are oftern chromed too, there not solid steel of the car would stuggle to move!
