Try- All Rims

They stock Try-All rims, and these are probably going to sell well, so I'd imagine they'd have them in.

Interesting how Koxx went from big gash shit fluoro colours (adjective-erific) to more subtle, under-stated ones like these.

For the record: Mark approves :P

Wow. They're lush. It's a good idea and is also something different. I've seen chrome rim's on BMX's before, but it's a good idea, i feel, to bring them to the trials market. So well done to Koxx. I might even purchase a back chrome rim, next. :D

Cheers,

Joe.

But Joe, you ride natural so it's instantly a bad idea. If it's dusty/wet/not nice, it just messes up, basically. You don't have to be properly anally clean, but if you ride anything other than dry street, you're boned. It's amazing just how little water you need to get on a chrome rim to stop it working totally. Like Mike always says, it actually feels like you speed up 'cos you pull the brake and nothing happens. Almost caused a bit of Mark/Volvo interaction as a direct result of it too...

I wouldn't be running a smooth rim, Mark. And i don't really mind how dirty my rim get's, but i s'pose im not gonna get it if it's just gonna' look wank, because i could just get a normal silver one, again! :)

Cheers,

Joe.

Ah yeah, fair enough - I wasn't saying about it getting dirty from an aesthetic point of view, just that chrome does not work in the wet/dusty sorta conditions that you'll get riding natural. But yeah, if you're grinding the minx go for it, just hope that it doesn't make the chrome on the underside of the rim flake, although I guess that's if they're properly chrome plated or just "the look"...

Joe. The point of a chrome rim is how amazing the brake is in the wet on a smooth rim, Mark's saying if you ride natural the slightest bit of water is going to make it completely shit as in not holding enough to slow you down in the slightest, if you grind it, it defeats the point of having one.
