Stan Shaw Posted September 9, 2006 Report Share Posted September 9, 2006 and if I were to use a headset press into a frame, the press would have to push down on the actual bearings of the headset as it sticks out more than the actual cup does. Yeah they are pretty tough, thats how we press them in at work if i remember right. If its a park headset tool, just take off the bearing adapter thingies so its just the plain sides on the tool and use that, If something is sticking out in the middle, try using like a rotor or some other ring to go around the edge so it hits the outside, DO NOT use a block of wood.
