Which Laptop?

Been laptop shopping today..it's a nightmare

Anyways, I've narrowed it down to the follwing:

Philips laptop

HP laptop

or this one which my local store can do for £699.99 but is a 'Qosimo', has the 1.66 processor and a 17.1" widescreen (it's 'end of line' and is missing the power supply thing' but has £600 knocked off )

I'd go for the third one, the spec is a bit better overall and you can always find power leads and stuff on Ebay.

However, you may find it was ex-display, but they won't tell you that, so you'll probably have to wangle it a bit, still £600 off makes it a bargain.

I don't fancy an ex-display one, dunno why. If not the third, which one of the others?

You don't know it is ex display, you might aswell ask, it's such a minor thing when it's really a cut above the others.

But definately the Hewlett Packard, my dad works for them so.

Just take a look at it and if its got any scratches on etc barter with them a bit more. Before buying it though price up a charger.

Even if it is ex display just run the restore cd first thing (shop will probs do that anyway) and its good as new.

Oh just re-read your 3rd link. Id make sure its a core duo like the other you link. Core duo's are relatively new so id be supprised if it was end of the line.

Thanks for your help. Got the third one in the end and because of a load of hassle I had due to the numb-nut of a sales guy,I blagged a new power thingy and a 1 gig USB storage device - for free

Using it now, it's amazing, and has this dual core thing
