Tomm
What have you done to that poor polo!? Chavved up VWs just look horrible in my book (I mean even worse than a nova or a 306 or something).
gofasterpinch
wtf are you on! its hardly chav is it? i haven't stuck a jap body kit on a euro car, it hasn't gained anything from the shelves of halfords.....anyway, i did it to someones request, not my own personal choice. gofasterpinch
who says so?? is there some secret rule book of modifying a vw?? the vw scene is all too trendy nowadays, people are like sheep.

Having said that, it's a good photoshop job, I don't think I'd be able to tell it wasn't real
gofasterpinch
yeh i see your point. not to my taste personally neither is "euro" really. like i said, it was a request for a lad off a forum, he also wanted some daft acid flower graphics on it

Alexx
Lol, waiting for Alexx to post some of his freehand stuff.hehe ^__^ I've really just been working on one piece for the last year - I won't give much away about it, but it's themed upon an angel. It'll be another year or so at the very least untill it's finished, I'm working at around 15 mega pixels, so detailing takes a while I'll post that up when I finish it.So instead, I'll leave you with a quick unfinished repaint I did of the intothestorm piece I did back at the start of 2005.Note that it's not actually a finished piece, I never got as far as painting the hair or skin details (or earings, or ears... come to think about it) - I'd never create something with such a blantly poor composition - This is just a 25% scaled down crop of about 1/3rd of the image, the other 2/3rd are even more unfinished.I look at it now and see a million stupid techincal errors, but my current piece should be a lot betterand some construct detail Oh, and I'll just post this because it's funny - just a really quick and dirty 30 minuite start-to-end version of Freddie on here, to prove a point he looks like an anime character

Not only huge but also really computer intensive. My computer struggles a bit adding filters and whatever to 8 MP images. I can't wait a year though Alexx
Alexx
Blimey, 15MP is crazy. Not only huge but also really computer intensive. My computer struggles a bit adding filters and whatever to 8 MP images. I can't wait a year though Alexx Yeah It's a bit of a bugger, the main thing you gotta watch is keeping the layers right down. When you digitally paint the aproach almost everyone takes is to work at 1/2 rez untill about the half way point, so really the bulk of the work is done at 7mp - which is a LOT better. Then after you scale up your only working with really small brushes and stuff, so you don't get the same kinda stupid lag time you get when using a 300px soft-feathered brush on a tablet reading 1000+ presure levels and brush tilt 500 timest every second; even my computer lags right out on that. Just gotta sit and wait 1-2 seconds after strokes to see how you did
