munkee
Okey doke recently.. well.. since start of summer i have the yellow shield thingy with the ! mark in the middle saying that updates are available. I go on there and see:[attachmentid=6871]Then i download and install and this happens:[attachmentid=6872]No errors or anything.. just f**king annoying because the damn shield wont go away and it just continues to keep doing this over and over. Ive looked on the tech support on microsoft and nothing helps its just a big gay. Any ideas?
Danny
Try doing the updates manually though the windows update link on your startmenu rather than through automatic updates.Edit: Just noticed they are office updates. Try http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/officeupdate/default.aspx

Krisboats
Could be your firewall? My norton firewall doesnt let me do windows updates, so i turn it off and leave just the windows one active while i update, then turn norton back on after. Can't hurt to try. Danny
Just use openoffice as long as your not a heavy office user. Works great for viewing documents.
