hi, ive jus recently bought some echo cranks 6061's and ive heard that the thread to hold the freewheel rounds off, is this true? i could send them back and i have £40 and could buy the expensive better crank! do you think this would be a better solution? instead of getting cranks that may easily brakeand waste £50 ? help and opinions need please... thanks

I have seen lots of people with the forged echo cranks. I think they will be fine aslong as you're not a super hard rider. On the 06 echo forged cranks isnt the thread CNC'ed so that it doesnt strip as easily?
