NirZionTrials
Do you want to ride street or natural? Will you be Sofa Surfing?street mostly, since we dont ride much natural here. what is Sofa Surfing?out of all the places you recommanded i would like to minimze to 4 that are popular for trial riding, where we can ride in groupls that meet often.do people ride in groups everyday or do you have to plan a group ride?so the idea is 4 places (2 weeks) for street riding that alot have alot of group rides. Thanks Edited September 5, 2006 by NirZionTrials

Martin Grainger
i think by sofa surfing he means like looking for peoples houses to crash at, or getting a hotel instead

Greetings
All I can say is that London is a must. I'm not from the UK either but took part in a London ride and it was an extraordinary experience. Just take into account the prices of trains in the UK before you leave. My 2 day trip to Derby and back to London cost 90 pounds, would have cost 120 if we hadn't taken a double with Anzo. If you're not going by car (which I doubt you are) check the prices beforehand. somberlaine
I'm not one to give good advice on riding or riding spots since I know nothing...so I dont want to sound rude, but no one seems to be giving him any firm advice. Everyone is naming more than four places and no one is really telling him about group rides. Perhaps if people name their top four places in order of how good they think they are. Also there is no point in naming a place if rides seldom occur there - on average, they will be riding each spot for half a week, ideally getting as many group rides in as possible at each place. So maybe you might want to factor in how good the area is to ride along with how many group rides often take place there in order to rank it. Sameer
If you wanna ride street and not travel all across the country like some are suggesting, visit: London, Bristol, Reading and Oxford. London might (/should) keep you entertained for mutliple rides 'cos its massive and has everything. The others are cool for a good few rides, too.If you wanna try out some natural, plan your trip in the northern regions of England instead. I dont know much about natural spots but just by reading this thread it's obvious you wanna hook up with some of the yorkshire based riders.Shouldn't you be in the 'war', anyway? haha
