Guest
I allways just grind it off, but people have tried using 2 bit's of wood in a vice to hold the teeth, then try turning the wheel.Heat may also help but you run the risk of messing up the hub.there's a number of methods but like I said I tend to grind it off to save hassle wondering if all the other will work, the cog's useless to you now anyway so it's not like you need to keep it in good condition. JT!
but people have tried using 2 bit's of wood in a vice to hold the teeth, then try turning the wheel. That's the way i did it.The more people who help turn the wheel the better. Don't forget to put more air in your tyre so you can grip it better.
