I-LUV-TRIALS
the old style maggie levers always brake on the tpa. but this can be fixed all you need is a bolt from a skateboard or one with the same thread it has to be between 1" and 1.5" now to start remove the lever blade look inside the blade where the broken bolt from the tpa is and remove it, then take the red part of the tpa off. there should be a square brass coloured bit, screw the new (skateboard) bolt into this holding the square bit with a pair of pliers then reassemble the lever.all fixed now to adjust the new tpa just hold the brass square and screw in the bolt or vice versa this should work perfect at least it did for me good luck and get riding. Danny
This is the rubbish way todo it.The best way is to take your bolt and cut a | into the head of it and put it in the other way round. Ill get pictures at some point.

Willsey
no.. just put 2 bots onto it (to lock it and put in the vice) then clamp it into the vice onto the bolts so you dont wreck the thread.. then cut the line ... simple

Dan6061
Best way to do it:Get a mudguard bolt (or sililar) off an old bike/anyones bike.Cut the slot in the HEAD of the bolt.Screw that bolt into the brass square thing the red knob is attached to, and it should kinda lock onto it? (mine did)Then assemble the lever back together.
