Rich Pearson
I've had a brief look around to see if there are any other lever blades that will fit the mono trials disc brakes to no avail, and was wondering if anyone knew of any alternatives? I just really don't like the feel of mine and wanted something a bit more like the feel of an XTR or oldskool HS33 blade that didn't felx as much.CheersRich

Bigman
Something will be available shortly This is sounding promising I am not realy a fan of the shape of my hope blades either, but i will have to put up with it for abit longer EDIT:Here are those Dangerboy lever blades, i have seen them before, they look quite nice.....£40 a pair sounds reasonable too, considering hope ones are £18 each.......Adam
Thom
RB makes disk brake levers but you'll have to replace the whole body. Not sure if they are compatible with hopes either. Heres one anyways:
loffa
RB levers won't work on a Hope, because hope uses Dot fluid, but RB is designed to be used with mineral oil (i.e. Magura discs)
RobinJI
I've always thought that in theory shouldn't it be fine to just put mineral oil in the whole system in that case. As surely the much less corrosive mineral oil wouldn't damage the parts designed to be used with Dot fluid?Correct me if I'm wrong, I just though that kinda made sense... AdamR28
It does make sense in those terms... but mineral oil swells seals meant for DOT fluid.
Mark W
Didn't Hope sell aftermarket kits to convert their seals to mineral oil seals?
ScotchDave
I thought those were just replacements to fix the brake if you so put mineral oil in.
Brian Bleech
Not available for hope's yet, but could be soon! They also look damn nice!
