grantham
hmm was an awesome 2 weeks really, comps were good although i was about to collapse in Singapore after the 1st lap i think.the first week in Singapore felt more like a holiday to me, so was good to get to Japan and do some riding everyday, although Singapore was great as well. Was good getting to know people better as well, some people really supprise you when you get to know them, such as Fred S, never really spoken to him that much at trials before to be honest but is a funny guy. Can't wait for next year now. Will post some pictures up later, too tiered to sort everything out at the moment.Patt Donovan
p_rew@theciderbar.na
one thing i remember was reminding wayne of how much he liked shrimp for 5 days solid. to me, those jokes were like wine and just got better with age. think wayne liked them too. although, it perhaps wasnt as funny as watching duncan having to sit through weeks of abuse from wayne and the savages. that poor lad has been scared for life.but, think the best bit about the worlds it is the fact that im still on tour!after itadori me and missus went to kyoto. if you ever go to the trial in japan, take a few days to go somewhere else. if you think itadori was nice, just wait til you explore elsewhere. kyoto was on another level.in australia now. spent today surfing on bondi beach, sydney. is it raining in the UK?!balls to hook woods, think ill stay here and see if i can make it into aus elite. Savage
Hey Pete, missing your dance moves! Never forget haggis is a term of endearment.Best year ever for me - Waynio, Duncan and I are giving up Trials to become professional luge pilots. Thinking of suggesting our team kit becomes compulsory for U.K. riders next year. Pat - the mystery man, where do you go at nights? Singapore was great, so was Japan in a different way, so pleased to have stayed with the same family as all other years, they made us so welcome. Made good friends with the Italians, hope they are comming to stay with us soon.Ben.
