poopipe
How and where do i find these tests? I would like to do them too talooks like the official site for memtest - you need to write a CD with the appropriate version for your system and boot from it to do the memory test. itll run through a load of tests and tell you whether your RAMS f**ked or notthe temperatures ... restart machine go into the bios (press F2, Del, F11 whatever it wants) and there'll be something like CPU health status in there - have a look in that. What CPU you have determines how hot it should be so you'll want to ask the internet about running temperatures - mine runs at around 30 degrees unless it's been working hard but I wouldn't say there was anything to worry about unless it its in the region of 80 C
ZeroMatt
What are you doing when it crashes/freezes? I had a similar problem related wholly to graphics drivers.
