Ive been on one and I thought they were really nice to ride.....

Nice and flicky and I like the high b/b frames on 26's. Not too heavey either.

And by looking at that picture would you really refusre it, its so nice....Only nicer frame I can think of is Mbk t1000 :)

I have had my Czar since early January and I love it. I came from an Onza t-rex and I had no previous experience of high bb frames, so I was a little worried at first about whether I would like it or not, but the decision to get it was a good one. I have the long version, and I find it perfect for everything really, feels just right. The high bb feels strange at first for some moves like wheelswaps and gaps to front wheel but I soon got used to it. In fact the same day I built it up I was used to it. I would recommend getting one, mine has proved to be strong, it rides well and looks good. Top frame I reckon.(Y) I have made a lot of videos of me on it if you want to take a look :). They are all HERE

I had one for about 8 months and it was really nice. The BB rise is quite hard to get used to if you have ridden a normal bike, but i really loved it once i did. The only problem is mine cracked - i think i am the only person to do this? Either way its great if your going to be using it for street, but if you take it on natural with lots of hooks and stuff you will kill it. Its an accident waiting to happen because of one design feature that has been over-looked. Koxx had the same problem with the XTP's so they changed the design on the XTP R to combat this, and i suppose it worked.

Either way i did really enjoy it, but if you want a frame with almost EXACTLY the same geo then the Gu is the one - i got it as a replacement and i love it, rides almost the same as the Czar and doesnt have the design that will kill it!

One last point is that you CAN'T use Chris King funbolts in them as the dropots are too close to the weld for the bolt head to fit... so you will have to file down your frame if you want to use them... another design fault?

PM me if you want more info because i have actually owned one of these bikes and i know what i am talking about... unlike some of the other people who replied, who i think just want to get 'validated.com'

use the search.....well a few weeks back phil ma mate cracked his czar don't no how like hes not a ruff rider or anything but i think there was air bubbles in the welds at the top of the bottom tube near the cnc bit! They look good but they don't last very long...unless ma mates was a dodge one? :o

  • 1 month later...

my long is the DOGS, i switched from a vario tibo as i changed my ridding style (uci)

was a good move in my mind the elivated bb helps with the back wheel balance also gives more confidence too.

I always look forward to going riding now as i know i going to have fun on my dream bike.

hope you enjoy yours. (check mine out in the bike pic topic page 6)

hi mate

i own one myself and have done since the beginning of the summer. absuletly love it, i have the long as i am over 6 ft and it feels really nice, as previously said bb rise takes a while to get used too but when you do you wont want to go back!! i have ridden natural and street on it and find it really nice on both. in comparrison 2 poeple i ride with own an adamant a1 and the gu. i know the set ups are different as i run a higher rise stem then both of them and im obviously biest but i do prefer mine!! out of there two bikes though the adamant is definately a nicer ride that the gu. again this is all setup and my opinion. get out there and ride these bikes and make your own mind up!!

cheers

chris

p.s heres a pic of my one. . . . .dont judge a book by its cover!!
