bbt Posted August 29, 2006 Report Share Posted August 29, 2006 (edited) I bought some onza muscle man cranks at aire valley cycles around 3 week ago, within the first week the thread went which the front freewheel screws onto, i took it to y local bike shop and they put me a bigger washer on them and it has happened again. what should i do? can i take them back? send them back to onza? Minimans had his musclemans for about 2 years.Just contact onza. if they dont give you a free crank, you can do a half price replacement on them. If it stripped, it took the threads off. Putting a bigger washer on means you're going to be moving the freewheel off the threads (which have already stripped) more, so it's gonna die anyway?Either way, like Jaffacakes said, Musclemans don't usually do that. Mine lasted for eternity, so it seems weird your's broke.
