max-t
yer sounds like you are hitting it in the right place...whats the problem then? is your momentum stopping when you hit the wall or are you having trouble converting the bounce off the tap into height. Jay@BBT
What i found helped was hitting the wall slightly lower down..? Gives more of a bounce up.Jay
lawrence osborn
I found that if you hit the wall around the same place and really give it beans and also when you hit the wall hit it with the bike more vertical and for some reason that works! Heres a drawing sort of explaining it (sorry about the great drawing)
Matthew_Gibson
I find tapping odd. I tryed so hard to keep the front wheel high. But I made a vid that is slowed down. Its not the best tap ever, cause its by me. But maybe people can give me tips too.[attachmentid=6676]Do I tap too far up the wall? I do carry a bit of speed into it though. I'll just practise though, when I can walk!http://tv.isg.si/site/filebrowser/MattGibsonThe video is on there, its called Tapping
Walleee
Id imagine you can do that straight to back wheel without tapping??I would have thought you'd need a taller wall to tap properly.

Matthew_Gibson
I can do it both. Next I'll make a "hall" out of pallets about 6inch bigger than that and tap that, make it bigger by another 6tap that and so on. Just keep practising, all I need to do.
