ok i brought my fist trials bike and sat (thank you T-MAGura) and after sorting out a few bits i took it out today problem is i have kids and needed to get it in the boot of the car so wheels need to come off front and back .

now with my xc bike and the maguras i have the quick releases so its ok but on the trials bike i seem to have to let the tires down every time and its annoying stood in a carpark with a track pump

any ideas on how i can deal with this cus as u all no the gearing ent right for me to ride into town on LOL

unfortionately that is the only way i'm aware of!

the other way is to take the 4-bolt of and set the brakes up each time which is pointless (N)

try turning the handle bars by loosing the stem? failing that loosen the stem right of take it of and then also take the forks out the frame and put it in your boot like that but make sure not to kink the cables? not sure if that helps?

if you have a car to put the bike in simply just take the air out of the tyre and squeeze it out (Y):P

EDIT: sorry. didn't read the whole post. i'm afraid that i don't know any other way than this. belive that this is the easiest way

How about putting the bike out side of the car :-

CRAZY but its a way :S

if you get one of those thingys which u can hook/strap your bike to the car (Y)

That would be a bike rack, but there a pain in the arse.

Anyway, did you say you are taking both wheels off ?

Just take the front one off (depending on what car you have), if not you could always run a front disc then it will just slide out with out letting your tyre down and pumping it back up each time, but is it really such hard work just to pump a tyre up.

Dan.
