Importing Songs Form Limewire To My Ipod

Recommended Posts

Hello, I just downloaded some songs form limewire basic (its free) and i now have a file in my itunes but i can't import them into my libary so i can put them into my ipod.

Could you please tell me if this is possible or not.

Thanks, Allen

Before this closes i will try to help. You have to find the files from where you have downloaded them to, i think by default it is something like C:\Documents and Settings\"your log in name"\ limewire downloads (or something) then you double click on the file to open and it will be stored into the itunes libary so you can put them onto your iPod.

Hope this has helped.

Joelio.

Getting your mate to copy the music onto a cd is still illegal. If you want music cheap, iTunes does it cheap but you then nly have the music on your computer and you can't play on any other platform as it's protected and 'stuck' to your computer. But there are ways of removing this 'protection'.

to get the songs on to your i pod, you have to, go onto limewire, then onto library, and click explore at the bottom, then a window will pop up with all the songs youve downloaded in, highlite them all and click play, and then they will all play in i tunes, they will aslo be saved in your i tunes library, so they will be available to be put on your i pod!

WTF Limewire's legal! You can download it from www.limewire.com

Go into library, click explore, minimise the box, open "my music" folder, highlight the songs you want, drag them into the "my music" folder. Job done ;)

Edit: Ok, my bad. Im a twat :-

Put music in the my music folder then drag them into the shared folder in limewire by Clicking explore.
