CBProductions
Ok having well I normally don't have and trouble with the mail system its always been on time and no troubles what so ever. Last friday I ordered a new camera and the seller posted it monday 21st Insured Special Delivery Next day shizzle. That monday I also ordered some stuff off of amazon (5 books to be precise) same thing next day delivery. Tuesday morning : Woke up early so I didn't miss them as its a pain going to the sorting office. 9am : nothing . 10am: just one letter usual stuff 11.20 : books arrive which puzzled me as I thought the camera would have arrived as well it going to the same place and essentially if everything has gone right going through the same sorting office. 1.20pm I ring the local sorting office who inform me that its in Gloucester. My response was why is it there , and to be fair the person didn't know either so away to customer services my phonecall went. Cut it short they have messed up and sent it to Gloucester and instead of Chester sorting office and it will arrive tomorrow (today). Now when I checked the track and trace around a dozen times yesterday it said it would have arrived on time. Today it has changed to its being processed so I think If I hadn't have phoned up I wouldn't know anything. They are offering to refund my postage costs but now I'm two days behind on filming which are things you can't replace when the next two days you are working. It has Gotten me really frustrated and annoyed. So yesterday I ordered another camera Fuji Finepix off of ebay and we are going to see if A) the previous mentioned camera arrive and if the Fuji comes. I'm really annoyed that they couldn't have sorted something that day to get my parcel to me when I needed it not after. Has anyone else had really bad experiences with the royal mail and what did they do to help you and compensate you ? Craig
Walleee
Im nearly sure that it's in the small print somewhere, when they fail to deliver on time, the only remedy is to be refunded the amount for the guaranteed portion.I wouldn't expect that you'll get compo for loss of earnings or anything like that, their responsibilities only extend so far. bob87
Parcel Force are the biggest W*****s in the world.Ive just bought ghost-cloaks Leeson 609 off him on Wednesday night and we got the postage sorted as-well.I told him to get it delivered Next day 12am by Parcel Force so that i could ride tonight. It was picked up on Thursday lunch time.Well i arrived home about 1.20pm to find that it hadn't been delivered.( what the F**K)So i phoned them with the tracking number stating that it should have been here at 12am but it wasn't.The guy on the phone said that it was impossible for them to get a parcel from Wales to Scotland within 24 hours, BULL S**T i said, it only takes 9 hours tops to drive it.Then he comes up with all these excuses about going through the system and arriving at these depots.I don't give a S**T about depots, where the F**K is my bike?He said sorry about the inconvenience sir it should arrive at the Inverness depot tomorrow morning.Well i say F**k Parcel Force if my bike hasn't arrived at like 9am someone is F***ing dead.Guaranteed 12am next day my ass, more like guaranteed not to arrive at 12am next day.D**k heads. This happened to me about a 3 weeks ago. Will Arnold
all of these stories are based on the fact that the seller sent the item/items on the day they said they would... sometimes it can be the sender who f**ks about, making it look like the postal service!honestly, i think the royal mail is spot on, it does'nt cost that much to send stuff, and it generally arrives on time! Will

Greetings
Parcelforce again. Firstly they accepted a frame which was sent by one of the forum members totally unpacked. Secondly, it took them almost 7 working days to get it out of Birmingham and off to another hub in England. That's how long it is supposed to take for the parcel to reach Poland!!!!!! And the parcel left England after about 12 working days. I actually thought I'd never see my frame. I wrote them an email asking about what the hell is wrong with this parcel (gave them the tracking number) and their reply was something along the lines of "If the parcel doesn't arrive 2 months after it has been sent..." The postage was something like 40 quid. I asked Gaz to send the frame by European Express but you CAN'T send it by EE if you haven't got an account with Parcelforce. If however you send it by Parcelforce from Poland to England, you not only pay just about 25 quid, European Express is the only service they do and it arrives 100% on time. I buy lots of stuff from England and the postal service is a disgrace. I'm not talking about companies like DHL which must have set the world record when delivering a parcel to me from Tartybikes 22 hours after it had been sent. CBProductions
Update on situation : Camera arrived 09:15 the next day so still late even when they knew the time to be delivered. I am awaiting monday to clain back the postage. Havent had any bad experiences with parcelforce yet but I have only received things and the delay was down to the seller. Fair play 22hours thats quick !! Let's hope they imrpove seen as the sods have upped the charges for postage.
