PaRtZ
We've just been out riding, ill do a list of what happened:10:00 Will pulls into station ride begins10:05 Start riding opposite station10:15 Community officer on our asses already and says move on10:17 We go to station to ride in the car park there10:30 Huw arrives10:40 We all go to a different car park with a rail and a couple of cars parked10:42 Some woman comes up to us and says "Watch where you're riding, cos if you hit that car you'll be in trouble. * I wouldn't mind, but it wasn't even her car10:45 I got round the other side away from it and just rest my front wheel on the rail* (on other side of parked car, in between a gap of 2) and I suddenly hear "OI KNOBHEAD" I didn't look because im not a knobhead, and did woman starts walking towards me10:50 she arrives and says "Thats my car, if you scratch Ill come after you and get you, and it is a fast car and I don't need it" Sorta contradictory imo..... If she didn't need it, why was she bothered about it getting scratched??10:55 We move on again into a random part of town with no CCTV looking for somewhere to ride and failing to do so, we came back onto main road to.......11:15 That community officer waiting for us saying shed received another complaint of us. Gave me a yellow car and let Huw and Will off cos Huw didn't ride anything and they had no evidence of Will.*In both these circumstances we were in control all the time, not as if we were going stupid or anything. This rail is like 2ft tall and wobbly. It just pisses me off at how quickly and how keen bastards like these are willing to cripple our sport. If I had damaged a car then fair enough but surely If I knew I wasn't capable of doing ups to rails near cars, I wouldn't do it for being nervous of hitting them? But instead these people thought "Oh its just a talentless stupid child, hes going to hit my car deliberatly" and then gave me a bollocking and THEN phoned the police!? wtf?!?!
RR_Trials
Get it all the time. Its annoying because they always tell me to go to the skate park on my 'bmx' by this time i'm on my 3rd time of trying to explain that it is not a bmx and they can't do the mud jumps etc. After realizing i have an opinion and i know what i'm talking about the boyfriend comes and starts on me. What can be said or done This may not of helped but thanks for listeningRorz

RR_Trials
Well... I was riding this mad spot were i live and a police officer came past. I was on top of the obstacle and i was like now i have had it and the police officer went past smiled and said 'cool trick'.From this i found that most police aren't out to spoil our fun and most of them find it just as amazing as the public do (apart from old moody farts)Cheers,Rorz

Greetings
Including the other day when i was getting hassle of an old person i was trying to get my point across and she said 'Shut up you're opinion is invalid'.Haha I remember when we were riding in London and some old woman went up to us and shouted that we were destroying the walls. Staples asked her to show him the damage we'd made (clearly none) and she just repeated that we're destroying them. You can't win. This doesn't take place in Poland though, the public seems quite keen on seeing us ride.
Dan6061
When me and my mate were riding around our village, we found this box hut thing, can't explain it.But it was just under 6ft high, so we climbed on top, and dropped off it.He done it first, then i climb up, mate passes my bike to me, and a guy stops in his car, watches me drop of it, then gets out."Alright lads, erm..I'm the local police officer, and you shouldn't really be doing that here""oh, sorry, we didn't know you were a policeman, we're not damaging it or anything, it's only our tyres"him - "Oh yeah I know that, just that if i find this does get damaged, you could be to blame for it."Then he got in his car, and said "Looked good though. I didn't think you were going to do it".haha.Pretty cool, we were lucky he was off duty I think...

downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
"if it isnt football, its an ASBo for you" thats what its like these days...You see kids playing football on the streets n stuff, and it goes into someones garden, hits their car, and they arnt too bothered... "cause its a good sport2 haah, yeah right, just cause "david beckham plays it, its awesome"When me and matt were riding carlisle, a skinny copper came along and went, "alright lads" and just walked off lol, he didnt even look old enough to be a police man lolI get alot of people saying im good and stopping to watch me ride, but i also get the occasional person which says, "this is a footpath, not a stunt park" even though, they are walking on the bike track part of the path, and i was only riding along and poped a little (large ) bunny hop up the curb... lol Edited August 23, 2006 by terror-error

"good".they walk back round the corner....and i couldn't resist ...i was just hopping on back wheel next to it (wasn't gonna actually do it...that'd be petty?)...and they heard me..oh the evil stare.thanks for listening...adam
