Rich
Hi i was just wondering if anyone had a trials park near them? Would be great to have somewhere that your allowed to ride instead of getting kicked off riding street! Any pictures?
ManxTrialSpaz
Skate Park That' about all that we're limited to now. Skate Park, Some sitting place (privately owned by a buisiness that doesn't give a shit, thank god), and a college, plus some other smaller places. Basically, we're f**ked over now we've got police after us on our main riding spot and, there's nowhere to run to either.Basically, the trick is to ride anywhere you haven't been kicked off from. If the guy says go away from wherever he was (ala, stood still and just says leave) just leave straight away and come back another day. But don't retun to somehwere where the guy has had a long conversation with you or if he walks right up to you and tells you to leave(well, don't go back too soon). All you have to do is keep riding, even if it's just doing small lines somewhere you haven't been told to f**k off from. You'll eventualy get a pattern of riding. Oh, and if it's the right kinda day, start heading off in a totally opposite direction from the way you normaly go, and try to find some totally new palces to ride.Edit: I know I've gone off and started going on abotu my own thing, but I gathered that you'vve been getting kicked off from palces recently. python_man
swalecliff in kent i think you meant . it was supposed to be a skate and bike park but the money is getting less and less so the park is getting smaller dont know whats happening about it though.the best things is to go to each place you ride then get kicked off when you get kicked off. we just keep going to different places till we get bored. STC
Hey, we have a skate park which no body use's any more so me and some trials riders use it in stead but you have to clim over or you can get thro the gap but your bike wont fit frue the gap because of your handel bars which i do not like! we allso have a chav park with a skate park with some trials rider use because thir not relly ramps and that they are luke steps to get up and have a good wall next to it where loads of the trials riders try to get up i do not have any pic's of the park cheers luke
GAZ T
heytheres a trials park in silsden wich isn't too far from where i live i suppose its just a bunch or rocks and a few rail gaps its not what we expected when they said a trials park was goin to be built its very small and not that good if you want to ride for a long time because there isn't that many section you can plan out.theres a skate park about a metre away from it wich is probably better for riding than the actual trials park!were hoping to get one built in keighley soon but the council are twats so its probably not going to happen.thanks ...GAZ... lankyri
this is what i dont get bout the council in my area and the owner of the skatepark near me oklike the skate park in shoebury like dan suggested is made out of wood n fallin apart and is also in a really ruff area and your lucky if you dont get shot at the skatepark in basildon that the council just built is ok we have suggested what we want but they have made it out of metal so basically its scary because you never no when your rear brake is goin to slipthe local skatepark near me is indoor but because i have no seat on my bike im not allowed in the park why cant the council just build us a warehouse and leave it to us lol
roly
I totally understand the problem of not having anywhere to ride but surely the point of trials is to find and then master a massive range of obstacles. If there was a "trials park" like a skate park you would soon have ridden all the lines and then be bored. In a skate park on a bmx you can ride the same line learning new tricks but even if you ride "street" trials its still more about the obstacles than the tricks?
