rickycoleman
Hi, I was so impressed by the service of Steve@ Heatsinkbikes, that I thought I'd let everyone know. First of all I snapped my pad backing about a week ago doing a routine move, Didn't come off or anything but the pad just popped out and landed about 5 metres away with half the backing still stuck in the caliper. After whacking an old rimjam Pad in, I Quickly realized why i ran Heatsinks. I contacted steve, told him the story, He instructed me to send the pad to him, Which i did, then bam, I get a set of the new Snowy pads. yes thats right, Sent the broken pad on tuesday, got a New set on Thursday. I feel this this displayed excellent customer service unlike some of the other bike companies out there.I would like to thank Steve for his effort and dedication to the trials scene and his customers, Top Bloke. TheMunn
Shame he overlooked the same problem of my friend, except when my friends pad broke he took a nice tumble. And however long ago it was steve didn't do anything about it. Can't win them all.
Matthew_Gibson
What are the snowy pads like? I getting some, well am posting the money on Monday, so with a bit of luck they should be with me by, Wednesday or Thursday. I´ve only ddealtwith Steve once before, but I was impressed. I would hhappilyspend money on heatsink, over Koxx. Keep it BritishCheers!Matt!
Ben Geary
Yep ... Steve is a top bloke, sent him my old Cnc'd backings to be refilled and he was a day late at doing it witch i wasn't really botherd about to be honist with you as it's only a day but still. He had my backings and sent me some Brand new Cnc's backings with new Blue material and this was done becuase it was a day.Top notch
Walleee
My experiance with steve was good overall. I ordered some coust material cut to fit cnc backing's however delivery was a bit slow at a week, I e-mailed steve after 3-4 days letting him know that i wasn't too happy, and when the pads came there was a free set of blue material too. I now have the best brake i've ever had.
Trials Dave
service used to be excellent from Steve but recently i have had a few problems.the first set of blue magura pads i bought were delivered really quickly. i also ordered a hoody off him with my name printed on it. it is excellent and i am really happy with it.the second set i ordered took a while to arrive and when i used them one of the pads was down to the backing in under a week!and the backing also snapped. i emailled Steve to tell him this and i was told i would receive one blue replacement pad but i have seen nothing of this.i am sorry to have to say this and i hope no one thinks i am stirring sh*t and im not trying to upset anyone. Steve has always been excellent with me in the past.i would like to receive the same service i got back in the day when i ordered my first stuff!cheersDave

CurtisRider
Aye we all know Steve's a gooden, but i don't really think there's a need to post a topic up. its also very hard to keep a reputable trials company going, so kudos to steve for making such an effort, considering he gives up such alot of time to bring us all these products, yes he makes money, but not on the scale of koxx or echo, whatever, this guys driven by a passion for trials, just remember that-he is the reason why we have such a wide selection of affordable pads out there now, as well as bringing out some pretty funky cnc parts that work well
Burton
Steve has had some other things on his mind recently, so his service hasn't been the same. He's sorted out new ways of making pads quicker, but he just aint got enough hours in day! If he hasn't your details then he most likely think's you've forgotten and no longer care.....With regard to him having other thing's on his mind and such, that's all very well, and im not slating him, but if a site says delivery in 1-2 days, and there are no notices otherwise saying that at the moment orders are delayed or whatever, It's not unreasonable for people to be unhappy when their product doesnt arrive when they thought it would.... but like I said, steve managed to resolve this with me.... Heatsink
Hi,Thanks for all the nice words, but more importantly I didn't realise that there were some outstanding failures to sort out! Although I make it my priority to answer all emails, especially if a rider isn't satisfied, In some rare cases an email may be overlooked due to the amount of emails I get. If this happens just fire me another one and it will definately not get missed Don't be shy to give me a prod because I'm here to help..... however long ago it was steve didn't do anything about it. Can't win them all. Please give your friend a shout to drop me an email with the details so I can sort this out albeit belatedly. I'm sorry if he did already, but I won't miss it this time..... i was told i would receive one blue replacement pad but i have seen nothing of this.I popped a replacement pad in the post on Friday so if it didn't arrive on Sat then it should arrive Monday. Please let me know if it arrives ok or not.In recent weeks I have been struggling to get pads out in the timescale given on my site. This has been due to family life squeezing out HSB time. I didn't want to bore everyone with the details before, but I've been working extra hard recently due to rather extraordinary circumstances all happening at the same time.I have a son who is approaching 2 years old and my wife is pregnant with our 2nd baby. My typical day has been starting at 5:30am as Callum rises earlier than usual, and I work all day and into the night, finishing as late as 3am some times. I've genuinely been working hard to catch up with pad making, and when there are delays then my emailing time increases too as I answer queries about the delay. I've been unhappy that I've not been able to get parts sent out straight away, but I'm making steady progress to building up stocks of pads ready to send immediately. Thanks to those who are appreciating my efforts to bring some alternative British made and non-catalogue parts to the market. I'm working hard to improve so I can offer consistantly excellent service without blips due to other commitmentsI'm 100% committed to getting the HSB ship 100% ship-shape and bristol fashion, and this includes making sure riders are happy with all products they order.Once again, if you find that my service or components fall below the level of satisfaction you'd expect, pop me an email to steve@heatsinkbikes.com , and I will be on the case to sort it out to the level I would be very pleased to receive myself if I was in your shoes. This weekend I've made some real progress building up ready to send pads of all varieties. So these are looking for new homes and are ready for immediate send out. I look forward to your continued support and bringing out some surprise new offerings in the near future to broaden your choice of trials components yet further. Jez
Steve's a sound bloke with a good product. And like most of us, short on time. So even when he ain't the world's quickest at getting yer pads out (but he usually is pretty rapid), I'd stick with it.I have no complaints whatsoever. Here's to some more reds when (if) mine ever die
CBProductions
After having mixed experiences with steve , I would stick with him now just due to the quality of his product , supporting british production , cheap postage and a no quibble after sales service. Keep it up dude and hope you get your faster productions sorted soon. Maybe the topic isnt needed JT but it serves well to keep everyone updated on how certain people's services are doing as well.
