Mark W
What BB is it? Square taper or ISIS? You may wanna double check it's not loose or anything too
ARSE!
if its going to hit the brake cnc'd areas' i doubt its too long, also the limey bb area is quite flexy.

Mark W
On new frames, bottom brackets do sometimes come loose though. Just hold the cranks so they're horizontal, grab hold of the ends of your cranks nearest the spindle, and try pushing one side up and one side down. If there's play there, the BB is loose. Either way, longer square taper BBs tend to be flexier than longer ISIS BBs, so maybe attempting to make the switch to ISIS some time soon might help?
