Synergy
are bb5s any good for trials use front and rear? will they lock and give as good a bite and lock as a bb7?
Janson
probably work as well, but not as adjustable. if i remember correctly they have no red fiddly knobs that you can turn to move the pads.so they're better for the back really if you have problems catching your heel on the red knob dial thingy and making the brake not work. bEavoLa
doesn't anyone know how to use Google anymore?http://www.sram.com/en/avid/discbrakes/index.phplook there and you'll see that Janson is 100% right; there's no outboard pad adjustment, but i think you'd probably still hit it if you ran one on the rear.i'm guessing you've seen the price difference between these and the BB7s? i only state that look around at how many people are using BB5s for trials as opposed to BB7s...then you'll answer your own question! Janson
Yeah, but I meant that even if you hit it, there will be no risk of accidentally readjusting the brake.

Onza Kieron
The BB5 looks to have a shorter pulley arm thingy, thus giving less leverage? maybe? possible? no.
