There's 3 models in 128mm axle, and they all fit 68 and 73mm shells. The BFR 300 (£43), then the BFR 450 (£60), and the top one is the BFR 600 (£85). The only difference is the materials, all the bearings are the same - taper needle bearing (10x load capacity of a similar weight ball bearing system) on the drive side and normal balls on the left. trialsguru Posted August 17, 2006 Report Share Posted August 17, 2006 ahhh cool, is there any difference in strength with the different axles?im running a fsa platinum dh or something and at the mo it keeps coming undone on the non drive side which is annoying. its about a year and a half old so its probably time to change it anyway, do you know if the axle strength on the cheapest skf bb will be as strong or stronger as the one on my fsa? There's no difference in strength between the BBs, they're all super tough large diameter M12 axles, just the stainless one should last forever!
