Mark W Posted August 16, 2006 Report Share Posted August 16, 2006 If you want a quick way to do a scale, I guess you could just take an A4 piece of paper, work out how much border you want it to have, then just divide the wheelbase by that amount (don't forget you won't have room to put the wheels in unless you add on in mm the radius of each wheel to the wheelbase)? So if you wanted to have 10mm of borders, that'd mean 297 - 10 - 10 = 277, so 1115/277 = ~4, so you could go with a 1:4 scale and have it fit on? Meaning you'd have to just divide the "real" measurements by 4 to get the correct size to draw them on paper.Quick way of doing it I guess, even if it may not be "The" way?
