Walleee
order now and youll have em tomorrow. Why did you put on another grind if they were working fine before on the same grind?Cleaning the rim probobly would have sorted it. Walleee
yeh, exactley, if they were good with the original grind, and you put everything back the way it was, and it was shit, why would you grind again? If the grind worked originally, it should still work provided everything was clean.I just can't understand why people don't look for the simplest solutions to problems. When was the last time you took a tooth brush to your sidewalls and got them clinically clean?
Will Arnold
maybe your chainw as oily and touched the rim? maybe the chalky shite thats on most innertubes got onto the rim?who knows

downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
Did you take the pads off to take the wheel out?Maybe you put them on a different way to before.Left on right, right on left..etc. I took my whole brake off of my bike (sprayed my frame..) but i didnt take the pads out of the maggy... so they went on the exact same way... The rim was dirty, s i cleaned it, and it was still shit.i smoothed my rim off before, and reground my rim with a light sharp grind, the brake is A LITTLE bit better.. well, a very little bit...Its good when the wheel is spinning backwards, but not when spinning forwards... Lol, I've given my rim a fresh grind as I thought it was just that, and have probs got it on the rim now aswell, so any ideas what to clean that with aswell? Just soapy water? on both rim and pads?Taaa.Mat
Burton
Clean your rim with some water. Drag your brake a bit, but make sure its set-up properly.Just needs to re-adjust. I remember when i had mine, they wasn't ever quiet, and always worked. Just when they was bedded in, they had more bite.

Mark W
Just remember grinds sometimes need to bed in, especially if you ground over a non-dead grind in the first place. Just make sure the set-up's dialled, then give it a bit more time. Water + dragging brake = all good. Oh, and from my experience with the Koxx greens - they tend to pick up metal from the grind as it wears off, so a few days after a grind I usually whip the pads off then rub them on a rough brick wall or something. Mark W
Sanding the top layer usually works just as well. Sometimes your pads may be full-on contaminated, but not often

Mark W
Didn't even know they were out yet They take a little while to bed in, so if they're not super fantastically amazing straight out of the packaging, don't be ultra surprised. Having said that, mine are on a properly dead grind \
