Andrex
What rims are the strongest for a 26" bike because I run mavic rims at the moment but I've got to get wider rims for my frame and I need to what can come close to the strength of a mavic? max-t
hi.. my advice is to steer clear of try all rims.ive broke a few and the material is very soft on them. i use an onza full fat on the back.they are quite old rims but are mint.if you can get hold of one do that or get an alex dx32 from tartybikes hope thats a help. max Edited August 13, 2006 by max-t
Andrex
Would an onza ronnie undrilled be any good?
max-t
yer.excellent rims, have a deep braking surface so your brakes are easy to set up and they are very strong also. thanks
Andrex
Are they anywhere near the strength of a mavic or is that as strong as it gets for a wider rim?

planet-x-boy
Hey,I use an onza ronnie undrilled and it is amazingly strong. I have also had a viz rim and it will take ALOT or beating. The viz rim was easy the strongest drilled rim i have had.Stay away from echo o6 Viz or ronnie Brett........
