Chris
They're already available, at least here in Germany. According to our german distributor they're slightly softer than the other tryall pads. Same price...

Walleee
Will the black wear away or does it continure the full length of the material? They look rather pimp, white pads for white rims.......Definately a white component that will be hard to keep clean..... philking
So are these pads Try-all, as opposed to koxx, (as in koxx bloxx)... different then? Why do so many people look at pads and go, "oh they look good, i want to buy a pair"....?I mean none of us know they are good, they could be crap, yet everyone is taken in by the look of it. Because its the thing called "selling power", most people go on the look of an item, for example, would you by a chocolate bar which looked like a piece of dog shit but then again it was the nicest chocolate bar in the world.?Think about it.Dan. Or we'd all be sat around waiting for a reveiw and no one would buy them.

Walleee
lol are you serious? Come on, that would be REALLY difficult to produce...wud be quite cool if they were moulded through..like the lettering in a stick of rock from Morcambe !hmmm.Couldn't be that hard if they make rock in the same way and it sells for about 50p. havn't you ever heard of extrusion? The reason I asked was mainly due to onza kieran's comment about it being a stickier compound perhaps, might seem crazy but if no one is prepared to embrace these ideas then nothing will ever change. Walleee
Enough with the shitty owl picture's.Dual compound, as in, two compounds.
blinky
yea i know what dual compound means, just, why bother?if you make a pad with a really soft bit surrounded by a harder bit, yea it'll last longer, but it wont be as sticky? why not just use normal pads...? Walleee
you can put a nice soft very sticky material in a 'casing' of a harder one, meaning the soft material will almost have the rigidity of the hard one, and won't be as spongy as it would be without the hard compound.Might work, might not, but it's worth trying.
