Try getting a hacksaw cutting a groove into each bolt, then put a screw driver in at an angle towards one end of the groove. Now smash it round with a hammer. this is what i did when i rounded the bolt on my chain tensioner and it worked a treat. (Y)

can someone mayb tell us how u could get rounded bolts out!? please (N)

there are a few ways to remove bolts but don't grind the top off as it will make it harder.

1 u can use a center punch to tap round the bold (long winded but dose work be patiant with it)

2 drill a small hole in it and buy a pack of easy outs

3 if its a x head get a pack of jml screw removers they work really well

4 drill it out totally but mind the threads

5 heat up the part u want to remove from making the metal expand

6 if its rusted in use cilit bang on the bolt (cover frame with plastic bag)and leave over night

there maybe other ways but with out seeing what i'm dealing with its hard to guess

can u post pic ?

I have rounded many bolts of before and i have found a way to get them out. Basically just take a pair of strong mole grips or pipe grips if you have them and just tighten them and twist them just as you would with an allen key etc. If you grip the head of the bolt tight enough and twist then it will come out with ease.

I would also recommend that if you tend to keep rounding more bolts of then buy a good ratchet, with adaptor, with an extension bar and this gives you more leverage and you tend not to round bolts of as much as you would with an allen key.

Hope this helps (Y)
