Simon
The next big thing will be the commercial and social acceptance of trials, resulting in either a major UK purpose trials course, or many scattered around, which will in turn lead to various new riders springing up who learn quicker, easier and better then whats come before.Until then, i don't see much changing, nor many people stepping up to amaze the world like the ones you mentioned have. Walleee
Rather than 8 new members having posted intro thread's, the entire first page of nmc will be arsehole's introducing themselves, when we don't even want to know who they are in the first place. ogre
Maybe trials forum wil have a seperate thread all together from new members chat entitled "(unts" where they can introduce themselves, post crap etc to thier little hearts content and any member spotted looking in there will be treated like a pervert for weeks. or noti think even higher bb rises will be big, or atleast untill the point where all frames look like the koxx "camel"with the cranks/bb going straight through the middle of the frame for ultra high clearance.... Danno
The next big thing will be the commercial and social acceptance of trials, resulting in either a major UK purpose trials course, or many scattered around, which will in turn lead to various new riders springing up who learn quicker, easier and better then whats come before.Until then, i don't see much changing, nor many people stepping up to amaze the world like the ones you mentioned have.I agree, however I think the top riders will still continue to push the boundaries and innovate for years to come. But yes their will be new riders who will come and take trials riding to a new level, it is the nature of all sports and if trials did grow to the point that trials courses were being made all over the country their would be more riders starting and competing at a young age, which in turn will lead to some extremely talented riders being produced.danny macaskillThis is one rider along with many others who is really showing bmx influence and has integrated it into his riding (front flips, backflips etc) and this might be another big thing to come in trials as it is adding new degrees of creativity and 'wow' factor, which is good to throw into the mix along with the 'normal' trials moves. It is hard to list riders who will be the next 'big thing' in trials due to the riding standard of so many riders now days being very high. Walleee
What if it was benito, or an AMAZING rider?from your street...In which case it'd be a totally differant situation.Chances are that they'd be validated straight away, topic moved to chit-chat and possibly re-named 'ask benito' or something.I can't see a pro rider doing an introduction post as anyone who want's to know about them can find info elsewhere onine. squince
Too be fair, there new too the forum and see that other people have done it and in some cases got validated for it, so they do, just my thought on it though. Can we get back on topic now and say who we think will be the next big thing in trials Not many people have heard of this guy as he doesent have a video camera, but he really is th next big thing, His names deonn h, hes a member on this forum and is about 13 i think and has already got a good style and technique and is gapping 9 foot flat too flat and sidehopping 48 inches, not bad ay?Havent rode with him in a while but i sooo want too film him and make a video of him .Don't live on a street .Squince, next big thing .MatHaha, missed that, Doubt i will be getting much better than i am too be honest Matt unless i get back too be honest matt, Im stopping drop gaps as they have screwed my knee up Think i might focus more on the natural more technical side of riding . Waynio
WOW!!!!bucky i owe you a BEER!!! at least someone else see's it from a more sensible point of view.well played, the best thing is though bucky we will be C20XE and C20LET racing in 2weeks which is far more fun than people talking about/argueing about stuff. the worlds a big place. alot bigger than the internet too.but on the note of who could do it, it wouldnt be many people on here FO sure. people more like Ben Savage who ride trials in all aspects but have a "personality" and "opinions" that count, hes been multi world champion and iv never (probably never will be) but its so good to ride and take advice from people like that.
