watto
Well basically i don't know whats good or bad with camera to be entirely honest, and with my birthday next month im wanting to buy one, so i was just wondering what you thought of this one ive found on argos, i know its hardly a place to be getting a camera from but hey i need something sub £100 and this caught my eye, or this is this other one argos again. Johneh
the ones on ebay only give 15 fps when recording, you will probably want more than that really.
watto
So there a no go then ?
Johneh
they are really cheap, so are probably quite good value for money, but I personally would need more than 15 fps.
watto
Alrite cheers mate, What do people think of the top one the £89.99 one from argos ?
monty boi
It looks ok 24mb internal memory isnt so good, and i have never heard of vivitar? ,but if your only using it to get clips for a shortish video go for it! and if you have the extra £69.99 to spend get the Fuji 1Gb SD Memory Card too to give you that extra storage. watto
any one else, with a good knowledge of photography and cameras?
strat-trials
Really you'll want someting that gives 30 frames a second, otherwise your going to find the video is a bit jumpy. If you can afford it a second hand mini dv camcorder will be best as that will record at a good frame rate and the quality will be good. Something like this:-http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sony-DCR-HC19E-Mini-...1QQcmdZViewItemTry and get something that has a firewire out as this will allow you to edit on a pc or mac.In my experience cheaper solid state cameras tend to show their cheap-ness in the video at the end. However if your using it to make an online video which will be compressed you may be ok with them. The more frames a second it records at the smoother (if you like) the video will lookTom
