Guest
When will it stop?We don't need to know, or care......This sort of thing only really slows down validation i'd imagine, flooding the forum with 10 differant people introducing themselves? Johneh
thats mean, I think its quite nice to know abit more infomation about somebody who has registered, even though this 1 was abit late from registration, its still nice to read. A!!
How about an introduce yourself thread, as i do agree there are many topics on people introducing them selfs (which isn't a bad thing). That way you still can read and get information about somebody if you want, but it doesn't clog up the other topics, only an idea though. Guest
Sorry tom, your the one who posted today, tomorrow there will be another, and the next day, and the next day.Fair enough, perhaps you want to start posting again, why not just do it. We don't need informed of your presence here, and anyone who want's to know further information about you like what bike you ride and such can find that in your profile.Over the past week or two there have been countless threads of new members 'introducing' themselves, Perhaps it's a summer holidays phenomona which will stop once the kids go back to school, but it's just totally unecessary, I guess when one person sees another has done it, it perpetuates the cycles even more.Maybe a sticky in NMC would be the best idea, at lest then the shit would all be kept in a nice tidy pile in the corner, much like my dirty laundry...... tom-trials
Your right sorry for wasting all of your time I guess I was just bored and dont want to be unknown to all the riders out there I jus feel that most people can be abit edgy and get abit nasty on the forum and ive alays overlooked it I suppose now ive been at the blunt end of it i wont do anything silly like it again. SORRY GUYS I totally agree it's pissing me off now aswell why introduce yourself nearly 6 months after you joined up maybe do it when you first join but not now Just over one month actually. tom-trials
Well sorry i lost track of time 6 months wow its like yesterday my hands were swelling up like balloons due to the cold. I give up there was no need to quote me its like all of you are consistantly trying to blow each other out with the truth and facts.. Its about trials Edited August 10, 2006 by tom-trials
poopipe
don't take it to heart, most members only really come into NMC to have a rag on the new-members to make themselves feel superior anyway, it's why i'm here. Personally I think the intros are a bit of a waste of space - I'd rather someone introduced themselves while asking a sensible question than made a whole topic just to show off the python mummy bought them (not aiming this at you btw) but then again, i don't care enough to let it bother me
yoyoyo
I thought trials was a decent community Go out on a ride and it is. However enter NMC and it's a completley different scene. It's just that one person did a 'late' introduction and now everyone else is. It's annoying looking at topics and every other one is a 'late introduction' thread. Unfortunatley a few people have a short fuse on here. Give a few weeks and they'll forget all about it.
