Reinold
Both of these freewheels are very good but i would say tensile for the money. I have had mine for about a month and it hasn't skipped on me yet but if you are willing to pay a bit more i would get the new try-all frewheel as they have got 108 engagement points which rivals an eno's 72 engagement points.cheers ryno

Fvil
Tensile (Y) just got oneand its amazingonly 35quidthink about it not all PRO riders uses Enoand their proswhat more can i say plus Tensile has replacement partsmuch easyr and cheap then an Eno*easyr to maintain**cheaper obviously*save your moneys for furture needs
poopipe
erm. you can get all replacement parts for enosenos have a nice sealed cartridge bearing - so are even easier to maintain than the caged bearings you get in a tensile.however, enos cost £85 and tensiles don't so if you want a nice cheap upgrade that will probably do the job just fine you should probably get the tensile. Maximus
deffonatly Tensile (Y) i have ridden both, really why dose everyone think that the more money youpay is equal to quality, has every one forgot that Tensile make the best cranksdon't you agree? for a start the Tensile is totally trials specific. it sounds better and is a lot less hassle, with an eno you have to de grease them every month thats 12times a year. choose Tensile also there is a 2year crash replacement worentywith Tensile not eno,,! trial-biker-ryan
I'm really happy that people who break their Tensiles come on here and whinge rather than returning them to us to be sorted out. Or even just emailing us to tell us about it. It gives us less to do.It also gives us a false sense that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the product because we have, as yet, HAD NONE OF THEM BACK BROKEN. Out of a thousand or more sold worldwide. We do like to improve our product as time goes on. Those longer-term members reading this only have to look at the way the forks have improved over the years to know this. After your mate his freewheel did you put it back together and carry on, or have you swapped it back for the ACS Claws freewheel that you replaced when you put it on in the first place? Or did you get an ENO? What is the Tensile freewheel doing right now? There have been people who have returned Dicta freewheels to Supercycles because they have broken after "only" eleven months of use on their Onza T-Bird, so why hasn't anyone tried this approach for a relatively expensive part like the Tensile freewheel? While the cheap freewheels are viewed as consumable items, the Tensile freewheel is something which we have enough confidence in to put in the half price replacement scheme; even if it's visibly abused we'd replace it half price. There are even spare parts readily available for it. We have the bearings in rings, the pawls and the springs in stock, just in case anyone ever asks. The fact that the balls are in rings makes it more likely that even if it did come unscrewed you could just get a bit of threadlock and screw everything back together. I would guess that this is why we haven't heard from anyone, but I'd love to have some confirmation, either by email or on the forum somewhere.Sorry for the rant. I thought I'd better get it off my chest. Speaking for myself, I haven't seen any come back as yet. It is the sort of thing that would be shown around so everyone knows "this can happen", so I don't think I would have missed it.You will have to ask your mate. Are you sure it was a Tensile one? There was a Claws recently...I'm wondering if I shouldn't go to the Tensile thread to continue this as it does seem to be going off topic. The Tensile and ENO freewheels have different qualities that can recommend them both quite well.In the end, I think it comes down to whether you think it is worth it to spend the extra money, as the opinion seems to be that there isn't much noticeable different between 60 clicks and 72. i reterned one to you some time last week because the lock ring had came lose and it had totaly bent and ripped out all the pawls and bearings and was in bits when i took it of my crank! and the day after i posted it i recived a call from you (super cycles)and you asked me a few questions.. one of which was asking why it had spray paint on..and you said you would be sending me a replacement.. which i recived the next day..so.. once again super cycles showed superb customer care and suport and i would never think twice about recomending/using there servise's.. i am using a tensile still and am very happy about the high quality, price and engangments of the tensile freewheel.. super cycles sent me a replace ment with no hassle and seemed very happy to do so..so if any one elce has had the same problem i am very sure super cycles would be happy to help just give them a call and explain your problem.. the address you sent the freewheel to is.. (so you can see that you had receved one)ryan barnes 1 powis placeeynesburyst neotscambspe192ss thanks alot super cycles ryan barnes...
